A 75y male patient with refractory hypertension(BP 190/105mmHg) was admitted, and spiral CT scan and angiography revealed severe eccentric stenosis on ostial right renal artery. The puncture was performed into left radial artery, the stent was smoothly implanted on right renal artery. There was no any systemic and local complications. His blood pressure was controlled in the range of 150/80~92mmHg and his renal function was still in normal range after renal artery stenting. This case indicates that the renal artery stenting with transradial approach is feasible and safe for hypertensive patient with severe stenosis of ostial renal artery.
