| 肥胖的埋线治疗因其操作简单、安全方便而成为临床常用的减重方式之一。近年来肥胖的埋线治疗在评估方面仍简单地局限于体重，在治疗目的上局限于体重下降，在治疗手段上多局限于传统的辨证治疗。借助于现代医学对于肥胖的病因机制认识、临床评估诊断方式、系统化治疗策略，将有助于在埋线减肥的过程中系统而全面地认识和评估肥胖，正确界定埋线减重的适应证，制订全面的治疗方案，提高临床疗效。 |

| Abstract: |
| Acupoint catgut embedding therapy has become one of the widely used methods for weight loss in treatment of obesity because of its simple operation, safety and convenience. However, the purpose and evaluation of catgut embedding therapy are still limited to body weight loss and based on syndrome differentiation of traditional Chinese medicine so far. The deep understanding of etiological mechanism of obesity and development of diagnosis, evaluation and treatment strategies in modern medicine will be conducive to better application of catgut embedding therapy for obesity treatment, and to correctly define its indications and treatment plan to improve clinical efficacy. |
