Abstract:
Objective To survey the features of aggressive behavior and its relation to family functioning in college students.Methods A survey with AQ-CV,FAD,QSFD A forms was conducted in 300 freshmen,who were randomly selected from one university in Shanghai.Results There was a gender difference in Physical aggression(t=3.77,P<0.001) and anger(t=-2.61,P<0.01).There were significant differences in problem solving(PS),communication(CM),role(RL),affective involvement(AI),behavioral control(BC),general functioning(GF),family atmosphere,personality and concept of disease between high offensive and low offensive students.The aggressive behaviors were correlated with all dimensions of family function,except systemic logic.PS,RL,AI,BC,GF and personality could effectively predict aggressive behaviors.Conclusion The aggressive behaviors of college students are significantly related to family functioning,and evaluation of family functioning will be helpful to prevent and handle the aggressive behaviors of students.
