人口老龄化和恶性肿瘤高发,已成为我国健康领域的两大社会问题。氧自由基学说和端粒学说是引起细胞衰老的主要原因,而衰老引起基因突变积累、炎性反应和免疫功能低下等等,进一步诱导肿瘤发生。因此,了解细胞衰老和肿瘤发生的调控机制,以及二者之间的相互关系,对于临床肿瘤治疗和抗衰老具有重要意义。 |

Abstract: |
Aging and increasing incidence of cancer are two main social issues nowadays in China. Oxygen free radical and telomere are two of the widely-recognized theories causing aging. The gene mutations, inflammatory reactions and immune dysfunction caused by aging, have been well demonstrated to induce tumorigenesis. Therefore, understanding the mechanisms regulating aging and tumorigenesis, and the relationship between aging and tumorigenesis, will shed light on developing strategies for suppressing tumor growth and anti-aging. |
